All items are issued tracking numbers and shipped USPS Priority Mail, which usually takes 2-4 days to arrive. Express Mail shipping is also available and generally takes one day to arrive after the order has shipped. To upgrade your shipping from Priority Mail to Express Mail, or add signature confirmation and insurance, please contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. Shipping time may vary due to availability of merchandise, in which case, the customer will be contacted directly.
Spanish Moss ships worldwide. All items are shipped USPS, and rates depend on the weight and size of the item. Spanish Moss offers three international shipping methods:
First Class International is the least expensive shipping method. First Class International generally takes 10-21 days, but does NOT include tracking or insurance. Orders shipped with Spanish Moss’ FREESHIP promotion are shipped First Class International.
Priority Mail International is a mid-priced shipping method. Priority International generally takes 1-2 weeks to arrive, and includes basic tracking, delivery confirmation, and insurance. We recommend this shipping method.
Priority Express International usually arrives within 5-7 days after processing and comes with tracking, confirmation, and insurance. We highly recommend this shipping method, especially for time-sensitive deliveries. (Depending on the customer’s country’s customs department, this shipping method may take longer than 5-7 days. This is not the responsibility of Spanish Moss).
All customs duties, taxes, or fees are the sole responsibility of the customer. Spanish Moss is required to accurately declare the value of all international orders on the relevant customs forms and on the included packing slip. Occasionally, customs delays do occur. The amount and types of duties, as well as other customs information, can be obtained by contacting a local post office.
Vintage clothing was sized differently than modern clothing. Due to this fact, we provide accurate measurements for each vintage piece in the individual listings. Read more about our vintage policy here.
We also include an approximate modern size estimate (example: XS, S, M, L) in each vintage listing. A "One Size" estimate in a listing means that a garment fits "open" or "free".
Vintage shoes include measurements as well as actual sizes in each listing.
Length of item
For all clothing this is the length of the entire garment. For example; a dress's length would be measured from the shoulder seam to the hem line.
Measured under the arms at the fullest point of cup size.
A vintage garment is laid flat and measured at the waist line of the piece and then doubled for the waist size.
An inseam is the length from the crotch seam to the hem of the pant leg.
Length of a shoe is measured from the heel to the toe of the shoe. The height of a platform, wedge, or heel is also specified in the description. Shoe width is measured at the widest part of the foot, that area is usually an inch or so below where your toes begin.
